Maybe this begs for further investigation by the team. I never saw this error before, for me it started last night (the emails, and the errors in admin backend) after the updates to Joomla 5.1.2, done yesterday. Happens on all the websites, so it must be some correlation.
What I tried:
- I am self hosted, running Debian Bookworm + Virtualmin, no CDNs, no caching systems and the likes, just your plain php from sury with default opcache.
- I cleared the Joomla cache;
- completely cleared the browser cache;
- restarted all the php-fpm processes;
- restarted all the Apache processes;
- rebooted all VMs.
Inspired by viewtopic.php?t=1009992 - needless to say all of these didn't work.
My first question to anyone whom might know the answer would be: any dangers here? Database problems, loss of data, loss of critical backend functionality, broken public frontend and the likes?
The error in admin:
The emails:
"Hello,
Planned execution of Scheduled Task#3, Update Notification, has failed with exit code 5 at Joi, 11 Iulie 2024 06:40.
Please visit the Joomla! backend for more information."
What other info should I provide?
